I know I haven't written in a while but I was a bit down. Today,I have decided to share with you something really amazing. . .well, I'm sure some are aware but I still think it can serve as reminder to us all. It is the amazing click to donate websites available online. They cost nothing except the little time you spend clicking but make a huge difference in another person's life. They serve different causes - hunger, education, healthcare, and everything else you can think about; and help you earn rewards from your creator, Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala). All you need to do is to make one simple click and a needy is helped. How about that?
Allah(Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) has urged us in more places than one, in His Glorious book, to help the poor an needy. He says, "Give to the near of kin his due, and also to the needy and the wayfarers. Do not squander your wealth wastefully; for those who squander wastefully are Satan's brothers, and Satan is ever ungrateful to his Lord. (17:26 - 27)"
"(O Prophet!) Tell those of My servants who believe that they should establish Prayer and spend out of what We have provided them with, both secretly and openly, before there arrives the Day when there will be no bargaining, nor any mutual befriending. (14:31)"
The following were also reported from the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam):
"Ibn Abbas related that the Prophet said: Any Muslim who gives a Muslim a garment to wear will be in Allah's safekeeping as long as a shred of it remains on him. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi)"
"Anas related that the Prophet said: If any Muslim plants something or sows seed from which a man, a bird or an animal eats, it counts as a charity for him. (Bukhari, Muslim)"
So, the next time you are chatting with your friends on facebook and you are waiting for them to reply, go to the next page and "click"; or next time you feel a little bored, don't turn on that t.v get your computer and "click"; and thanks to modern technology, next time you are stuck in traffic waiting for the lights to turn green, take out your phone and "click". It really is that easy!
